About our Speaker
Jennifer Codding is a senior attorney with Alexander S. Buchanan, PLLC, with an office in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her practice focuses on Florida and New Hampshire real estate transactions and real estate litigation, including lender representation in foreclosure, landlord representation in evictions, partition, unlawful detainer and ejectment actions, contract disputes, property title defects, quiet title actions, and declaratory actions about unidentifiable mobile homes.
Jennifer graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A. in English/Journalism and a minor in justice studies in 1994. In 2010, she graduated from the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law's prestigious Daniel Webster Scholar Program and was awarded her Juris Doctor. Upon graduation, the New Hampshire Supreme Court swore Jennifer into the New Hampshire Bar without her having to sit for the traditional bar exam. After that, Jennifer sat for and passed the Florida Bar exam and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.
Jennifer is a 2023 winner of Tampa Magazine's 2023 Top Lawyers for Real Estate Law and a 2014 recipient of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers Leaders in the Law Award. She is a Past President of the Pinellas County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and an inaugural member of the Women Lawyers of Pasco. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Sixth Judicial Circuit's Law Library and is the Finance Chair for St. Luke's Methodist Church.
